Ulverstone Golf Club "Allison", home of the Ulverstone Golf Club Inc., is an 18-hole 6104 metre long Par 72 Championship Golf Course located in picturesque North West Tasmania.

Set amongst a tall eucalypt forest, the course is renowned for its well-maintained, fully watered fairways and excellent greens. It is one of the most pictur

esque sporting venues in the state, it has a challenging layout, with tree-lined undulating fairways to provide an unyielding test of the golfer's ability. Open daily, visitors are always welcome. Green fees apply and golf clubs are available for hire. Competition days are Tuesday (veterans and members); Wednesday (lady members); Thursday (members with mixed "Chicken Run" during the daylight saving period); Saturday (members and lady members); Sunday (mixed). Ulverstone Golf Club is well set up to facilitate:

The Clubhouse provides panoramic views over the 9th, 10th and 18th holes. The modern, fully stocked bar is open from Tuesday to Sunday and drinks are available through the Manager's office at all other times. Secure, undercover lockup area is provided for golf clubs and buggies. Our modern, fully equipped kitchen is able to cater for up to 150 people. With the magnificent Australian bush as a backdrop, the Ulverstone Golf Club is a perfect venue for weddings, social and business functions. Our facilities provide a perfect opportunity to mix business and pleasure. We can plan your corporate day so that everything proceeds smoothly - from organising the catering, selecting the prizes and erecting signage. We wish our div 1 ladies, div 1 and 4 men all the best in their respective finals on Sunday. Both div 1 sides are playing at Devonport and div 4 at Wynyard. There are 3 other finals at Ulverstone on Sunday also. Don't forget, any pennant players from the season, we will be up at the club Sunday afternoon for a bit of a catch up and (hopefully) a couple of celebratory beverages! 🤞

Morning members, today the green staff are starting there couch transplanting program. Couch on some areas of the fairways will be stripped and transplanted into the areas that predominantly have cool season grasses. This cool season grass with then be swapped into the bare couch area, with the aim to have the couch grass out compete it over the growing season.
All stripped turf with be an abnormal ground condition for the time being, so players will be entitled to a free drop until informed otherwise
