Palm Springs RC Action Track is the premier off-road radio control track on the Mornington Peninsula but is currently a private track used for practice in the small town of Tyabb, Victoria.

Top 4 for the night. Temby in the 89 won both features with the 29/mcr1 of reddecliffe 2nd and borrowed car of the 89X (Temby's backup car) brodie ardley in 3rd. Newcomer Dave Rowlands comes home 4th with Todd Hobson dnfing with about 5 laps to go. Track was very fast and wide, until next time.

Reddecliffe ready to challenge for Title

In what was an awesome night of racing, Mornington Local Marcus Reddecliffe walks away with a slender points Lead over Todd Hobson and Luke Hickson in the 2016 Palm Springs Track Championship

Despite not winning a final on the night Reddecliffe was Mr consistent finishing 2nd and 3rd in both respective features after a solid run through the heats collecting a 3rd,2nd and 1st.

Todd Hobson can blame an inconsistent run through the heats on his 2 point buffer from Reddecliffe after a third and 2 fourths, but overcame this with a strong run in the finals with a 3rd initially then a 1st after a race long battle with Luke Hickson

The bad luck story of the night was Chris Temby who had qualified strongly for the finals only to be the victim of two racing incidents in both finals, this means Temby walks away with only 12 points, a Daunting 66 points off the leader

The next round of the track championship happens this Wednesday the 6/4/2016 and it's sure to be a cracker

Ben Goes Back to back.
Ben hickson took advantage of everyone else's misfortune to take out his second Palm Springs title. Ben took the lead on lap 40 of the 50 lapper after longtime race leader and previous 2 time champ Todd Hobson blew his motor. Also leading before Hobson was Marcus Reddecliffe who lost the nose on the v29 late in the final limping to a 3rd place and last of the finishers. Second place was Chris 'tear it down' Temby who put pressure on Hickson in the last 10 laps in his new imported Chuckworks/slash. Joining Hobson in the dnf club was hometrack hero Luke Hickson and Tyler 'the train' Scott with Luke having a flat battery late in the race and Tyler stripping a spur gear. Now the 1st annual Concrete Clash is in view for round 2 of speedweek with Ben having the lead in speedweek points going into the meeting.

PSRCR TITLE TOMMOROW NIGHT - who will take the first PS1 on oval! also round 1 of Speedweek

Format for 6 cars
- 10 minute open practice
- 3 round of heats each driver get 2 OR divide field (vote)
- top 4 pole shuffle.
- 50 lap amain (twin 25s, winner of first final gets pole, with a Delaware restart to give an advantage to leader)

Practice from 5:15 racing from 5:35

ROUND 2 of Speedweek- Return of Seaview Speedway (Concrete Clash)
-15 minute Practice
- 3 rounds of heats each driver gets 2
- top 4 pole shuffle
- twin 20s amain (a2 reversed finish order of a1, overall points)

-open tyres (street tyre recommended)
- Practice from 6pm, heat 1 from 6:20

Track was in great shape, great racing, new light tower a treat only issue was the time.

We had a three way tie for the overall: L.Hickson, M. Reddecliffe and T.Hobson.

Good car count just need to clean up the racing again, cutting also will have consequences also
