🦞NETBALL COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT🦞
Tyabb Football Netball Club happily announce Michelle Barnes as Head Netball Coach for the 2027 season!

Michelle brings extensive playing, coaching and club development experience to her new role as the Yabbies' Head Coach as well as looking after our A&B Grades for the 2027 season.
After completing a double degree in Sports Science and Education, Michelle began her senior playing career with Peninsula Waves, where she was named captain. She later joined the Tooradin Dalmore Netball Club, playing over 200 A Grade games and serving as playing coach for nine seasons. During this time, she achieved premiership success as both a player and coach. Her contribution to the club was recognised with Life Membership, while her coaching and playing achievements earned her the titles of West Gippsland Coach of the Year and selection in the A Grade Team of the Year.
Michelle later spent four years as Head Coach of the Mornington Bulldogs. Over the past five years, she has coached Tyabb's junior teams, helping to build strong foundations at the grassroots level and nurture the club's emerging talent.
As she steps into this coaching role, Michelle brings a strong commitment to youth development, creating clear pathways from junior to senior netball, and fostering a positive, connected and successful club culture.

We welcome Michelle and her family to The Pond for this epic new partnership 🦞🦞🦞

Please join AFL South East for this great opportunity to explore umpiring 🏉
The program is a fantastic opportunity for young women and girls to give umpiring a try in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment. It is also a great way for players who may be interested in umpiring to learn more about what the role involves without having to commit to becoming an umpire straight away.

Umpiring can also provide players with a better understanding of the Laws of the Game, positioning, decision-making, communication, and game management, which can help develop their own skills and knowledge as players.
