Fantastic win by Jack Wright today in the Queensland PGA Associate’s Championship, Jack shot a great 7 under par yesterday in the third round to take a one stroke lead into the final round. He then played great today with the lead making 4 birdies and just one bogey to win by two.
Great to be part of your team Jack along with your father John and brother Mackenzie.

The Junior Golf Competition was held last Sunday on the 18th it was a successful event. It showcased the incredible talent and sportsmanship of our young golfers. The event consisted of some of our juniors playing 3 holes and others 9 holes. It was great to see so many smiles and kids having fun on the course. What a day!

I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible progress my junior golfers have made this season! Watching these young athletes grow, not just in their skills on the course but in their sportsmanship, dedication, and love for the game, has been so rewarding. Their hard work and perseverance have really paid off, and it’s amazing to see their confidence soar with every swing.

Keep pushing, keep dreaming, and keep swinging for the stars! 🌟 The future of golf is bright with talents like these on the rise.

Another great week for Haruhi Nakatani this time finishing 2nd in the NSW Junior Amateur. Shooting four sub par rounds finishing 16 under and only being beaten by a girl shooting 15 under for her last two rounds.
Haruhi’s last three events have been two wins and a second with totals of 18 under (3 rounds) 1 under (4 rounds) winning by 11 and 16 under (4 rounds).

Congratulations to Haruhi Nakatani on winning her third Queensland Junior Amateur today by a massive 11 shots. Having coached Haruhi for over 5 years now it’s great to see per peak at the right time for her last Queensland Junior Amateur. She has put alot of hard work into her game and winning it’s her driving force just to keep developing and improving but nice to see it all coming together. Good luck next week in Victoria Haruhi. 👏👏👏🏆🏆🏆

The Australian Golf Foundation, in association with Golf Australia, presents the Australian Golf Foundation (AGF) Junior Girls Scholarship program for a second year. The program will be expanded in 2022 to involve more facilities and 400 scholarships for girls.

Under the tutelage of a CTHGC PGA professional David Nable, along with the support of club members, scholarship holders will have the opportunity to advance their skills through coaching, obtain a handicap, play in club competitions and form lifelong golfing friendships with other girls and members.
