The 2025 State of Origin Return Matches were hosted at the Gold Coast Table Tennis Assoc in Molendinar on Sunday 23 Nov.

Northern Region Teams Competition - 2025

This year there were 22 teams competing in 3 divisions
6 teams in Div 1 and 8 teams in both Div 2 & 3

Tournament next year will be the usual 3rd weekend in August .

Farewell to Honorary Member Harold Learmouth who has been with us for over 15 years. Harold was still playing social table tennis at the age of 97, but is now re-locating to Sydney to be closer to family. We wish Harold and his family all the best, he will be missed by all.

Labrador QLD Senior Citizens Table Tennis Challenge

Part of the SEQ Seniors Challenge Series was played at South Tweed Sports Club on Sunday 29 June 2025.
Current and former Gold Coast Table Tennis Association members playing included Stephen Johnstone, John Ferguson, Paul Moody, Don Norris, Anthony Baguley, Michael Kuhne, Glenn Daly, Hailo Wong, Gina Gabriel, David Frelich, Emilio Ibarra & Peter Howard
Tweed South ran out winners over Labrador on the day.
DIV 1 : Tweed South
DIV 2 : Labrador
DIV 3 : Tweed South
DIV 4 : Tweed South
Glenn Daly from Labrador presented medals for individual winners and the perpetual Cup to Tweed South (originally made by James Terry from South Tweed Table Tennis Club.)
The event showcased skilled play, sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Well done to all who competed and all who assisted with the organization of the event.
Both teams look forward to a return match scheduled for December at Labrador Qld.
