✨ Congratulations Emmett! ✨

Tweed River High School is proud to celebrate Year 7 student Emmett Christie, who has secured the role of Peter in Tweed Theatre Company upcoming production of Narnia: The Musical, based on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Peter, the eldest of the Pevensie siblings, grows into a courageous leader and ultimately the King of Narnia, making this an exciting and challenging role for Emmett to bring to life on stage.

Emmett has been working hard in rehearsals, demonstrating dedication, confidence and a passion for performance that has already impressed cast and crew alike. It is also a wonderful family affair, with his two sisters and mother also taking on standout roles in the production.

We congratulate Emmett on this fantastic achievement and encourage our school community to come along and support him as he steps into the spotlight.

Performances will be held at the Tweed Heads Civic Centre Auditorium on June 21, 27, 28 and July 4 & 5, with all shows commencing at 2:00 pm.

Tickets are available via https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1538658.

Well done, Emmett, we can’t wait to see you shine on stage! 👏

On Friday May 22nd Monaro High School visited TRHS as part of a sports tour to the Gold Coast.

We played 3 sports including Soccer, Netball and Touch Football.

The matches were played in great spirit with both sides enjoying the beautiful weather and warmth of the winter sun. Tweed ran out victorious in all 3 sports with our Touch team winning 12-10, Soccer 7-2 and Netball 34-4.

Thank you to Monaro for travelling all the way from the snowy mountains and we hoped you enjoyed your time on the Gold Coast.
