Due to staffing issues Women's self-defence will NOT be running this term (term 1). We will keep our social media updated for a possible return for term 2. For any enquiries or interest please feel free to contact us through our page.

Another term done and dusted! ❤️‍🔥 We've seen some amazing growth over these past ten weeks, not only in self-defence skills but confidence too which we love to see. Classes will resume Wednesday 12th of October 6pm-7pm.

This term these ladies gave it their all and deserve a round of applause 👏 It takes courage to walk into these self-defence classes but the risk is worth the reward.

The fact is women still live in a world of gendered power dynamics. In Australia alone, 1 in every 6 women have experienced physical and/or sexual abuse before the age of 15.

1 in every 2 women have experienced sexual harrassment in their lifetime. And 1 in every 3 women have experienced violence by a partner, someone known to them, or a stranger, since the age of 15.

This is why it's so important for women to empower women. Realistic self-defence is aimed to give women a fighting chance against an assault or attack.
