Scott recently booked a 3 hour land based guide with whiting as a target species!
Fishing live yabbies and 6lb we tried a few areas and the fishing was quiet slow ! Last spot he managed a 35cm javelin fish or grunter which was an epic battle on 6lb and the fish was safely released ! Then he caught a 33cm healthy fat whiting which was a quality fish .
Showed Scott a few tricks and tips in casting technique , bait presentation and different retrieval techniques to entice a reaction bite

Another beast of a 55cm 2.44kg Jack falling victim to a unweighted live herring on the light gear 20,lb tasline main and 50lb black magic supple trace running twin snelled mustad hoodlums in 5/0s 🎣🤙
Got bricked on line angle , let it back off and the beast swam free and it was a hectic close quarters battle near structure and done crazy lunges before the net shot ! Jack Crack Ju**ie fix 💯🤣🤣

Put good mate Mick onto this absolute brute of a Jack at 58cm was a football in depth ! Crazy fight , mental tug of war with crazy line angles close to structure but managed to pump him back and I scampered down the rocks to nail the net shot yeeeewwhhhh boys were frothing hard 💯🎣🤙

This healthy specimen at 55cm and 2.41kg fell for an unweighted fresh dead pike and pulled and thrashed like a possessed demon !
