Big Air Indoor Bike Park

Forster Cycles & Nutrition has temporarily moved into Big Air Bike Park.

As of yesterday, Forster Cycles & Nutrition has relocated and is now operating from Big Air Bike Park.

For the next 12 months, this temporary merge allows us to bring riding, repairs, coaching, programs and community together under one roof, making it easier for families, riders and young people to access what they need in one place.

This arrangement has been made so we can undertake the internal renovations and improvements within the existing premises, uninterrupted.

For a short period, bike services will be limited while we establish our new external workshop area. We sincerely thank everyone for their patience, not only during this transition, but over the past few months as we’ve been finding our feet and working hard behind the scenes.

We are incredibly proud to share that Big Air Bike Park has been successfully awarded the Department of Social Services, Strong and Resilient Communities (SARC) Grant.

Starting February, and continuing over the next 18 months, we will have the privilege of mentoring over 90 local young people through our Ride to Thrive program, a life-skill building initiative designed to support youth aged 12–15 who may be at risk of disengaging from school.

Through the Ride to Thrive program, participants will learn foundational bike maintenance and repair skills (skills that can be passed down for generations), gain job-readiness and retail experience, develop personal resilience, and most importantly, build confidence, purpose, and community connection while learning to ride the ramps at Big Air.

All of this will take place right here at Big Air, with the support, encouragement, and mentorship of our passionate coaching team.

Having recently been reminded how unexpected changes can affect good people and community efforts, this recognition serves as a powerful reminder that doing good still matters. No matter what challenges we face, community, kindness and integrity will always outlast self interest.

At its heart, SARC is about discovering strength through community, and this grant embodies exactly who we are, not just as a business, but as parents, friends, mentors, and proud community members.

We can’t wait to share this next chapter and the Ride to Thrive journey with all of you who have supported and believed in us every step of the way.

Big Air is closed for scheduled ramp maintenance which occurs during the first week of each NSW school holidays, ensuring that our facilities remain safe and enjoyable for all visitors.
