⛵️ SA 125 State Heats at Tumby Bay Yacht Club⛵️

The SA 125 State Heats were held yesterday at Tumby Bay Yacht Club with 4 races competed in light conditions. It was fantastic to see six local boats out on the water enjoying the day.

Congratulations to all competitors, with results as follows:

🏆 Perpetual Trophy Winner – One Too Many
🏆 Masters Trophy & 2nd Place – Pirates of Coffin Bay
🥉 3rd Place – Knotskot
⚓ 1st on Handicap – Sqwabble

***STATE HEATS round 2 at Tumby (TBYC)***

Reminder our next round of state heats is coming up on the 21st of Feb (next Saturday!) at Tumby Yacht Club. Racing to start at 11am.

Will be a great day of racing with the plan to squeeze in lots of short races over the day.

Please reach out to your club members and if there are any extras keen on joining in we will try and organise them a boat.

There will also be a AGM after racing so please all hang around for that and presentations.

Thankyou to everyone who travelled and competed in the Jumpship Brewing 47th 125 Nationals in Coffin Bay. A big congratulations to you all you should all be proud of your effort and achievements!

Day 6️⃣ and that is a wrap for the Jumpship Brewing 47th 125 National Titles held in Coffin Bay.

Lighter conditions greeted the sailors for the final days racing with bigger wind shifts on offer resulting in big gains and looses across the course.

Congratulations to screaming goats collecting another 2 wins to complete the series with a perfect score card.

Presentations were held at the Coffin Bay Yacht club and a great night was had by all.

Day 5️⃣ at the Jumpship Brewing 47th 125 National Titles was another great day on the water with a variable breeze ranging from 12-22knots allowing for 3 races to be completed.

Shifty conditions afforded multiple race leaders throughout the day and plenty of opportunities to make and loose places.

Day 4️⃣ and what a day to kick off the new year at the Jumpship Brewing 47th 125 National Titles at Coffin Bay Yacht Club. Today’s weather provided us with perfect sailing conditions for three competitive races once the sea breeze filled in. ⛵️

Day 3️⃣ of the Jump Ship Brewing Port Lincoln 47th Nationals - Close racing today with races 1 and 2 in the bag. Great to get out to Kellidie bay in a sometimes strong SE breeze.

Congratulations to Greedy Goats for 2x bullets and Sid with 2x 2nd followed closely by Super Toy with 2x 3rd.

Plenty of thills and spills out on the racecourse followed by some delicious local grown oysters curtesy of Farm Direct Oyster Co and assortment of beers thanks to jumpship.

Lay day tomorrow before an early start on the 2nd with racing from 11am.
