Unfortunately, our Tumba Greens Men's side went down 64-16 to the Albury Muddogs on the weekend.

Despite the result, the boys kept their heads high and fought hard right until the final whistle. They'll regroup at training this week and be ready to go again next weekend. 💚

Congratulations to Jayden McPherson on taking home Players' Player this round after an outstanding performance, showing consistency in both attack and defence throughout the entire game. 👏

A fantastic effort from our Tumba Greens Ladies League Tag team this morning, coming away with a hard-fought 20-14 win over the Albury Muddogs at Glenrowan! 💚

With no interchange players, the girls showed incredible determination, never gave up, and played with a great attitude from start to finish.

A special welcome back to Ruby McAullife, who returned from an ACL injury to make her senior debut. Ruby was outstanding all game and deservedly took home Players' Player for the weekend! 👏

The Tumba Greens men’s tackle side had a tough game ahead of them today with limited numbers and a few new faces in the squad. Despite the challenges, the boys showed plenty of determination and discipline, competing hard for the entire game.

Unfortunately, the match was called off with 21 minutes remaining following a serious head injury to one of the Border Bears Rugby League Club players. From everyone at the Tumba Greens, we wish him a safe and speedy recovery.

Players Player this week went to Toddy Bennett. Welcoming Todd back to the side this week was a huge boost and he put in a great performance, sliding straight back into his role with ease.

The Coaches Award went to Noah Bolton for stepping up this week with some strong tackles and supporting the team wherever needed throughout the game.

The men’s side now heads into a well earned rest with the long weekend giving them next week off before returning refreshed for the next round.

The Tumba Greens tag ladies side came away with a hard fought draw today.

Playing with only 8 players against the Bears’ 11 players, the girls showed incredible discipline, determination and heart from start to finish. They filled every gap in defence and never stopped competing until the final whistle.

Players Player was awarded to Kayla Jenkins for her outstanding effort and determination throughout the game.

Coaches Award went to Aysha Wilson for her commitment, attitude and strong performance on the field.

The girls now head into a well deserved break over the King’s Birthday long weekend before getting ready for the next round.
