I have mixed emotions about tonight. The dance floor was SO FUN!

Lots of new faces and some great tunes to get us all jumping, dancing, and having a raging good time. BUT, then some of our dancers were approached by a sketchy guy after the session as they got into their car at the end. Ruined the vibe, sketchy guy!

No Lights No Lycra is all about community and feeling safe, so please reach out if something like this ever happens to you.

Did you know No Lights No Lycra is global? Starting in Melbourne, it’s now all across Aus and overseas.

Last night, Michael, pictured with me, visited us whilst here on the GC for a holiday. He told me he goes to three NLNL sessions a week across different locations on the north side of Brissie and the Sunny Coast. Now that’s dedicated, and we love it!!

WHAT’S A SING ALONG PLAYLIST?

Excellent question. Glad you asked.

It’s a mix of those big tunes that get you singing and dancing, hands waving in the air, like you just don’t care… much like me here at home this morning. BUT, it will be a lot darker, and louder, so you won’t hear me singing (like you can here 🫣🫣).

Your sneak peak at the playlist includes Dolly, because we can’t have a sing along playlist without her 💔💔

We also have Valerie and I Want to Dance With Somebody. What else will make the cut?
