Tuggeranong parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am starting Feb 23 2013 in Tuggeranong, Canberra. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or f

emale, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! General information
Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun here. The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once! Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

No photo today but I am sure you can all picture 19 fantastic volunteers and myself out there doing their jobs with Jenny (tail walker) doing her 50th πŸ₯³volunteer🀩.

We had 354 parkrunners one of whom was Emma, celebrating her 50th birthday, who also completed her 50th parkrunπŸ₯³.

While a little wet underfoot it was a great morning, results are now up and reachable by clicking on the below link.

➑️ Self-seed the start chute:
Sub 20 mins runners at the front, parkwalkers at the back, and everyone else in the middle.
➑️ Be mindful of our neighbours near the footbridge and please progress quietly along this section of the course. 🀫
