ACT Underwater Hockey Fast moving, non-contact, underwater team sport. Played with snorkels and fins, perfect for all ages. Players of all ages and level are welcome to come and play.

Underwater Hockey is a fast moving, non-contact, team sport. Involving six players a side, with four substitutes, it is played with mask, snorkel and fins. Players advance, flick or pass a weighted puck along the bottom of a pool, usually at a depth of 2+ metres, with the aim of scoring in each others goal trays. Game strategy is similar to many other team sports such as soccer and field hockey, e

xcept for the 3rd dimension of playing underwater. An excellent, fast moving and breathless game – plus an excellent way to get fit. Weekly games are played on Thursdays between 8-9pm at the Lakeside Aquatic Centre, Athllon Dr & Anketell St, Greenway, Tuggeranong, ACT 2900. We can provide all gear, so flick us a message and give it a go!

Underwater Hockey is a fast moving, non-contact, mixed-gender team sport. Involving six players a side, with four substitutes, it is played with mask, snorkel and fins. Players advance, flick or pass a weighted puck along the bottom of a pool, usually at a depth of 2+ metres, with the aim of scoring in each others goal trays.

Players of all ages and levels are welcome to come and play.
