Last night marked the end of an incredible chapter for Emily Lim as she took to the stage for her final competition with Joyelle before beginning an exciting new adventure interstate. 💜
Today, Emily moves to start a new role and the next step in her career, and while we are so excited for everything ahead of her, there’s no denying she will be deeply missed by our Joyelle family.
Over an incredible 21 years with Joyelle, Emily has worn so many hats - participant, coach, committee member, mentor and friend. She has proudly represented the ACT as both a soloist and Rep Team member, received Joyelle’s Exceptional Service Award and Senior Participant of the Year Award, and has made a lasting impact on generations of performers. Some of the girls she coached in her very first year are now standing beside her in Seniors, which says so much about the dedication, care and connection she brings to everything she does.
Emily is one of the most generous, hardworking and genuinely caring people you could meet. Whether it’s her over-the-top thoughtful gifts, her incredible crafting talents, or the endless support and encouragement she gives to everyone around her, she has a way of making people feel special and supported. Her bubbly personality and constant positivity have shaped our club in more ways than words can express.
And fun fact - did you know Limmy also designed our Joyelle logo? Just another example of the creativity and love she has poured into this club over the years. 💜
Thank you, Emily, for everything you have given to Joyelle over the past 21 years. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all the amazing things this next chapter brings. Luckily for us, this isn’t goodbye forever - we know we’ll still be seeing plenty of you throughout the year. 💫
