Some great team efforts, plenty of hustle, and a whole lot of basketball across the courts this week.

Save the Dates! 2026-2027 Representative Trials are not far away! Keep your eye out for player and coach registrations in the coming weeks.

Trial times:
U18: Saturday 9:30am – 10:30am
Seniors: Saturday 10:30am – 11:30am
U12: Sunday 12:00pm – 1:00pm
U14: Sunday 1:00pm – 2:00pm
U16: Sunday 2:00pm – 3:00pm

Behind every game day, every training session, and every team taking the court… is a volunteer.

To every single person who gives their time, energy and support to Truro Basketball Club, THANK YOU 🙏🏼

Without our volunteers, this club simply wouldn’t run the way it does. Our players wouldn’t have the opportunity to hit the courts each week, our teams wouldn’t have the support system they do, and our club wouldn’t feel like the community it has become.

From coaches, team managers and committee members, to scorers, parents and everyone who steps in to help wherever needed, your effort never goes unnoticed.

Thank you for the time you give up with your families, the nights spent at the Rex, the behind-the-scenes organising, the cheering from the sidelines, the support, the encouragement and the care you show our players week after week.

Community sport relies on volunteers, and our club is incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated group of people helping make it all happen.

You are the heart of this club, and we appreciate every single thing you do more than words can say. 💚💛🏀

🏀 SPORTS VOUCHERS FOR SA KIDS & HOW TO CLAIM 👏

A quick and easy guide to using your South Australian Sports Voucher this season!

💰 Voucher amounts:
✔️ 1 voucher = $100 refund
✔️ 2 vouchers = $200 refund

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
To claim the full voucher amount, the total eligible costs listed on your Sports Voucher form must be:

👉 $100 or more to claim 1 voucher ($100)
👉 $200 or more to claim 2 vouchers ($200)

Eligible costs can include things like:
✔️ Registration fees
✔️ Weekly game fees
✔️ Uniform costs
✔️ Other approved sporting expenses

📌 Please note:
Families are required to pay costs upfront. Once your Sports Voucher has been submitted and processed, the voucher amount will be refunded back to you.

Here’s how to claim 👇

✅ STEP 1
Register your child and pay your sporting costs upfront.

✅ STEP 2
Complete and submit your Sports Voucher details to the club. ([email protected])

✅ STEP 3
Ensure the total eligible costs listed on the voucher equal at least:
• $100 for 1 voucher
• $200 for 2 vouchers

✅ STEP 4
Include your banking details so your refund can be processed.
⚠️ For security reasons, we do not recommend typing banking details in a message. Please send a screenshot or photo of your account details instead. (BSB & ACC)

✅ STEP 5
The club will submit your voucher for processing and your refund will be transferred back to you once approved 🙌

📣 Example:
Registration = $130
Uniform = $80
Total eligible costs = $210
2 vouchers claimed = $200 refund ✔️

Such a fantastic initiative helping SA kids stay active, involved and connected through sports!

ONLINE REFEREE COURSE | LEVEL 0

Registrations are now open for the upcoming Online Level 0 Beginner Referee Course for all SA Country Members.

Attendees must attend both modules to pass the theory component of the course. All users will need internet, and a laptop with Zoom installed and a camera to be able to participate

🚨 URGENT REMINDER TBC FAMILIES 🚨

Winter season is less than 2 weeks away and we still have players who have not registered.

If your child is planning to play, please complete their registration as soon as possible so we can finalise teams, uniforms and fixtures.

Timely registrations are essential to ensure your child is placed in a team for the season.
