🎉 A fantastic finale to our Learn & Play Program! 🏸

A huge thank you to Jasmine Hill, Deputy Mayor of Wyndham, for joining us on the final celebration day, encouraging participants, and presenting appreciation certificates to our consistent players and the winning team of the friendly matches.

Over the course of the program, participants built new skills, friendships, confidence and a stronger connection with the community. It was wonderful to see beginners, women, seniors and families come together to learn, play and enjoy the spirit of sport.

We sincerely thank Sports & Recreation Victoria for supporting this program and helping make community sport more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

We thankyou to our coaches and volunteers to run this programme successfully.

Congratulations to all participants on your dedication and achievements. We look forward to seeing you on the courts again soon! 👏🏸

Whether you’re a beginner, returning to the game, a woman looking to stay active or a senior wanting to enjoy some social sport, this session is for you!

Join us for a fun, friendly and inclusive badminton session where you can play, connect and enjoy the game at your own pace.

Date : Sunday, 14 June 2026
Time : 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Registration fee : $10 per person
Supported by : Sports & Recreation Victoria

📣 Important update on upcoming Squad tournament on 6th & 7th June 2026 , age categories :-

A squad team must register in the highest age category for which it is eligible.
U35: all 4 players must be under 35
35+: at least 2 players must be aged 35 or over
55+: at least 2 players must be aged 55 or over, and the other 2 players must be aged 35 or over

Men’s Squad and Women’s Squad will run on Saturday 6 June.
Mixed Squad will run on Sunday 7 June.

Team formats are:
Men’s Squad — 4 male players
Women’s Squad — 4 female players
Mixed Squad — 2 male + 2 female players

Team spots are limited in each category, so we encourage teams to register early.
Men’s Squad teams are limited to 12.
Women’s Squad to 8 teams and
Mixed Squad to 18 teams.

Registrations are open now and will close on 26 May 2026.
