Established in 2022, the Lions home ground is located at the Alcock Road Reserve in Truganina. At Truganina Lions Football Club, we're dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all children participating in our soccer programs. We prioritise child safety, respect, and wellbeing, and we're committed to preventing child abuse and identifying risks early.

We've been a little quiet on here while we've been in the thick of our competition season! 🦁💚💛⚽️

Over the past few weeks, many of our amazing Lions and Lionesses have been recognised as our Player of the Week. These awards celebrate the hard work, determination, teamwork, and positive attitude our players bring to training and match days each week.

Congratulations to all of our deserving recipients—we're incredibly proud of each and every one of you! Keep up the fantastic work, and we can't wait to celebrate many more achievements throughout the season.

🏁 GROWING THE GAME: 20 NEW ACCREDITED MATCH OFFICIALS! 🦁🟢🟡

A massive congratulations to the 20 new Football Victoria (FV) Match Officials who successfully completed their accreditation right here at Truganina Lions FC!

Our club remains deeply dedicated to cooperating with FV in the promotion and development of football both on and off the pitch. Providing clear, structured pathways for our community to become qualified referees is a vital part of protecting the game and building a sustainable football environment.

A huge thank you to FV for facilitating this program, and an even bigger shoutout to the 20 participants for stepping up to lead the next generation of match officials.

🏆 HISTORIC WEEKEND AT THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🦁🟢🟡

What a monumental milestone for Truganina Lions FC! With 7 teams (4 girls, 3 boys) and 100+ players tearing up the pitch, we were among the top 3 largest participating clubs at the inaugural Football Victoria Victorian Club State Championships.

But we weren't just there to make up the numbers. Our squads went toe-to-toe with the best in the state, proving our quality by sending 50% of our teams to the Quarterfinals! 🔥

This incredible campaign was weeks in the making, and it wouldn't have been possible without our massive support network. A huge thank you to our players, coaches, marshals, team managers, parents, committee, staff, and all volunteers. You showed up, you showed out, and you represented our badge with absolute pride.

On and off the pitch, we continue to grow, develop, and build a strong community club. This weekend proved exactly what happens when the Lions family roars together.

🦁 Western Tigers Cup at Alcock Road Reserve! 🐯⚽️ Truganina Lions FC was thrilled to host the second annual Western Tigers Cup on our home ground from 6–8 June! 🏟️✨

It’s a true pleasure partnering with the Western Tigers. Their passion for the sport and incredible community spirit was on full display across 3 action-packed days, featuring 78 teams, amazing food, and an unbeatable atmosphere. 🙌🍔🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out, all the volunteers, and our community partners for making it a massive success! 🦁🤝🐯
