Great tournament today - the kids were awesome- epic final fight in the open under 18 kumite that saw 3 extra time rounds before being able to split the 2 competitors.

So satisfying to see kids from all
Styles coming together and showing great sportsmanship regardless of their style, forging friendships and most of all having some fun doing what they love.

Reminder to all about the safety gear for the championship today.
Headgear compulsory for under 8, under 11 and under 14 divisions. Optional for under 16 and under 18. All sparring competitors must wear gloves, shin guards and mouth guards, groin protection is recommended.

A selection of headgear, shin pads and gloves will be available for shared use. Competitors must provide own mouth guards and groin protection.
