The stage is set for one of Trentham Golf Club's most loved and prestigious events – the Neil & Judy Rothe Trophy!

Tomorrow's Mixed 4BBB Qualifying Round is your chance to secure a place in the knockout stages and begin your quest for golfing glory, eternal bragging rights, and perhaps a little household leverage over your playing partner! 😄

We played 4th round of Jim McCormack today. Quite foggy but no rain.
A grade winner was our Vice Captain Andrea Krelle with 31 points, runner up was Alison Borchers with 30 points.
Winner of B Grade was Thi Ngo with 34 points; welcome back Thi.
Runner up was Bev Crowley with 29 points.
NTPs were Sally Kirkright on the 5th, Alison Borchers on the 15th.
We are moving through our doubles knock out rounds.
Carolyn Garvey and Anthea Leary are to play Claire Perston and Catherine Redden this weekend. The winners will play Joedy Wallis and Jenny Cutter in the final match.

🌧️⛳ LADIES SATURDAY STABLEFORD – JIM McCORMACK MEMORIAL TROPHY ROUND 4 ⛳🌧️

It was certainly a case of "character-building conditions" at Trentham yesterday as our fearless ladies ventured out into the wind, rain and winter chill for Round 4 of the Jim McCormack Memorial Trophy.

While the weather wasn't handing out any favours, there were still some terrific efforts on a very tough day in the office!

🏆 **Winner**
🥇 Julie Hanson (22) battled the elements brilliantly to claim the win with **29 points**.

🥈 **Runner-Up**
Trish Mann (18) also finished with **29 points**, narrowly missing out on top spot on a countback.

🎯 **Nearest the Pin**
⛳ 15th – Claire Perston

With scores proving just how challenging the conditions were, every point earned yesterday was well deserved. Congratulations to Julie, Trish and Claire, and a big well done to all the ladies who braved the weather and kept smiling along the way.

⛳🏆 SATURDAY MEN'S STABLEFORD – JIM McCORMACK MEMORIAL TROPHY ROUND 4 🏆⛳

Only the brave (or perhaps slightly weather-challenged!) ventured out for Round 4 of the Jim McCormack Memorial Trophy on Saturday, with 28 hardy golfers taking on damp fairways, blustery winds and the occasional reminder that winter has well and truly arrived in Trentham!

🏆 **A Grade**
🥇 Russell Hanson (12) battled the conditions beautifully to take the win with **36 points**.
🥈 Mark Fisher (8) was right on his heels with a solid **35 points**.

🏆 **B Grade**
🥇 Callum Gartlan (17) clearly didn't read the weather forecast, firing a sensational **43 points**! That's not golf, that's daylight robbery!
🥈 Bruce Smith (14) claimed runner-up honours with **36 points**.

🏅⛳ THURSDAY MONTHLY MEDAL WRAP-UP ⛳🏅

A magnificent field of **64 players** enjoyed some glorious winter sunshine and near-perfect golfing conditions at Trentham yesterday, with plenty of great scoring on display!

🏆 **A Grade**
🥇 Robin Wilson (2) produced a cracking round to claim the honours with an outstanding **Nett 66**.
🥈 Brent Leheny (2) wasn't far behind, finishing runner-up with **Nett 71**.

🏆 **B Grade & MONTHLY MEDAL WINNER**
👑 Take a bow, **Alison Borchers (13)!** Alison found some magnificent form and stormed to both the B Grade title and the coveted Monthly Medal with a superb **Nett 65**. What a round!
🥈 Adrian Cox (17) also played some terrific golf to finish runner-up with **Nett 70**.

🏆 **C Grade**
🥇 Paul McKeon (22) topped the grade with **Nett 72**.
🥈 John Hudson (20) claimed runner-up honours with **Nett 73**.

👑⛳ KING'S BIRTHDAY STABLEFORD WRAP-UP ⛳👑

While some enjoyed a sleep-in on the King's Birthday, 44 hardy golfers answered the royal call and ventured out into cool, misty Trentham conditions for a Stableford battle fit for a monarch!

🏆 **A Grade**
👑 Liam Murray (5) ruled the roost with 33 points.
🥈 Jason King (10) was hot on his heels with 32 points.

🏆 **B Grade & Overall Winner**
👑 Jock MacLeod (12) continued his regal reign, taking out B Grade and the overall honours with a classy 36 points.
🥈 James Coyle (14) kept his recent purple patch rolling, finishing runner-up with 34 points.

🏆 **C Grade**
👑 Ruud de Raadt (29) claimed the crown with 33 points, narrowly edging out
🥈 Mark Myers (20) on a countback after both finished level.

⛳🏅 Saturday Men's Monthly Medal Wrap-Up 🏅⛳

Fifty-seven hardy golfers fronted up to tackle Trentham's damp conditions yesterday, with the course playing every bit as honest as the weather forecast promised!

In A Grade, Chris McInnes (9) navigated the slippery challenge best with a nett 73 to claim the honours, just edging out Johnny Bell (8) who finished runner-up with a nett 74.

B Grade saw some excellent scoring, with Andrew Hocking (13) firing a brilliant nett 70 to not only win the grade but also take home the coveted Monthly Medal! 🏆 Runner-up was James Coyle (15) with a tidy nett 71.

C Grade honours went to Nicholas Brand (25) with a nett 73, while Steve Perry (19) claimed runner-up with a nett 74.

🌿⛳ TGC Ladies Stableford Wrap-Up ⛳🌿

The weather wasn't too cold, but there was certainly plenty of moisture about to keep everyone on their toes for Saturday's Ladies Stableford!

Leading the charge was Jenny Cutter (19) with a terrific 34 points, also helping herself to not one, but TWO Nearest the Pins on the 5th and 15th. A clean sweep nearly worthy of a royal honour! 👑🏌️‍♀️

Runner-up was Irene Kozicz (36) with a solid 30 points, proving once again that persistence pays off around Trentham.
