Recover. Rebuild. Perform.

Exercise Physiology bridges the gap between injury and elite performance.

At Control High Performance, we don’t just help athletes recover—we prepare them to return stronger, faster, and more resilient than before.

Our Exercise Physiologist has extensive experience working with athletes across a range of sports, combining evidence-based rehabilitation with high-performance strength and conditioning principles. Every rehabilitation program is tailored to the individual, progressing from pain reduction and movement restoration through to strength, power, speed, agility and sport-specific performance.

Whether you’re recovering from an ACL reconstruction, managing persistent tendon pain, returning from a muscle strain, or overcoming a stress fracture, our goal is the same: to get you back competing at your highest level with confidence.

Using industry-leading technology, including VALD Performance testing, we objectively measure strength, asymmetries, power and readiness to return to play—ensuring every stage of your rehabilitation is guided by data, not guesswork.

Because returning to sport isn’t just about being pain-free.

It’s about being ready to perform.

If you’re serious about your recovery, train with the team that’s passionate about high-performance rehabilitation.

New Equipment Alert!

We’re excited to introduce our new Prone Bench.

The prone bench is essential for athletic training, allowing athletes to perform chest-supported exercises that target the upper back, shoulders, and posterior chain.

It’s ideal for developing pulling strength, improving posture, enhancing shoulder health, and building the stability needed for peak sporting performance.

Whether you’re training for strength, power, injury prevention, or performance, this versatile piece of equipment will help you train smarter and move better.

Netball Priming Session
Today’s focus was on preparing the body to move with speed, power, and intent.

Back Squat
Box Jump
Building lower-body strength, then immediately converting it into explosive power for faster take-offs, stronger jumps, and more dynamic movement on court.

Medicine Ball Chest Press Throw
Bent-Over Medicine Ball Slam
Developing upper-body power and total-body force production to improve passing speed, stability, and powerful athletic movement.

Why priming?
Priming activates the nervous system, increases muscle recruitment, and prepares athletes to perform at a higher intensity. It helps improve power output, reaction time, coordination, and movement quality while reducing the risk of injury before training or competition.

Another athlete in the spotlight is Wil Jones! 🏀💪

A huge congratulations to Wil on being selected to represent Vic Country at the 2026 Under 16 National Championships in Bendigo, Victoria. This is an incredible achievement and the result of years of hard work and dedication. It makes it even more special knowing that over a year ago, Wil set himself the goal of making this team. And now he's achieved it.

Vic Country tips off their campaign tomorrow afternoon at 4:45pm against NSW Metro and we can't wait to see Wil in action!

Wil has been training with us at Control High Performance for just under two years, and the progress he's made has been nothing short of remarkable. His testing results have improved dramatically, with strength, power and overall athletic performance reaching levels we've rarely seen.

Here's what Wil had to say about his experience at Control High Performance:

"Control High Performance has helped me get stronger and improve my fitness in preparation for the upcoming Foot Locker Under 16 National Championships in Bendigo this July. The support and training I have received has made a huge difference to my performance and overall conditioning. I am very grateful for all the support from the team at Control."

Wil, we're incredibly proud of everything you've accomplished. Your commitment, work ethic and willingness to put in the extra work have earned you this opportunity and we're excited to see you compete on the national stage.

Best of luck this weekend & next week - we'll be cheering you on and watching every live stream! 👏🏀

Everyone at Control High Performance would like to wish Marley Alimpic the very best of luck as she heads to the United States this weekend for the AUSA Hoops Tour! 🏀

This incredible opportunity will provide Marley with valuable exposure to American college scouts as she travels to Chicago before competing in the prestigious Run 4 The Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky, with the tour finishing in Indiana.

And the excitement doesn't stop there!

Just days after returning home, Marley will suit up for Victoria at the School Sport Australia Under 16 Basketball Championships, held in Parkville, Melbourne from July 25–31. What an incredible month ahead!

Over the past few months, Marley has committed herself to her strength and conditioning program, training twice a week before the sun has even risen. Her dedication, consistency, and work ethic have led to huge improvements across every aspect of her game, and we know she's ready to make the most of these amazing opportunities.

This is a testament to the hard work, determination, and commitment Marley has shown both on and off the court. We couldn't be prouder to be part of her journey and can't wait to see everything she achieves over the coming weeks.

Good luck, Marley - we'll all be cheering you on every step of the way! 💪🏀

Our Exercise Physiologists combine evidence-based rehabilitation with high-performance coaching to ensure athletes return stronger than before.

Using VALD technology, we monitor progress throughout rehabilitation by measuring:
✅ Lower limb strength
✅ Jump height and power
✅ Reactive strength
✅ Landing mechanics
✅ Movement asymmetries
✅ Functional performance

This objective data helps us answer important questions:
✔ Are you truly ready to return to sport?
✔ Is your strength back to pre-injury levels?
✔ Are you still compensating?
✔ What do we need to improve next?

Every rehabilitation program is individualised and progresses from:
➡️ Pain management
➡️ Strength restoration
➡️ Power development
➡️ Sport-specific conditioning
➡️ Return-to-performance

Because our goal isn’t simply to help you recover—it’s to help you come back stronger, more resilient, and ready to perform at your best.

Data-driven rehabilitation. Athlete-focused care.
