“it’s just age”

Cool cool… so we’re just accepting:
no sleep
low energy
random mood swings
and a belly that won’t budge 😅

Hard pass from me.

Because most of the women I work with aren’t suddenly “lazy” or “doing it wrong”.

Their body has just changed.

Hormones shift
stress hits differently
sleep gets disrupted
and suddenly what used to work… doesn’t

So you try harder
eat less
push more

…and get nowhere 🙃

It’s not you.

Your body just needs a different kind of support now.

Once you understand that…
everything starts to make a lot more sense.

Perspective is a funny thing, isn't it?

We spend so much time wishing away our struggles, thinking everyone else has it easier.

But the truth is, every person you meet is carrying something you can't see.

If all the world's problems were thrown into a hat and you had to pick one at random... would you really risk swapping yours for someone else's?

Sometimes the grass isn't greener. It's just viewed from different glasses.

A little reminder today to be grateful for how far you've come, show kindness to others, and remember that everyone is fighting battles we know nothing about. 💜

❄️ Rightio guys… winter is officially here 😅

And if you’re already feeling like crawling into fluffy socks, oversized hoodies and saying, “I’ll start again in spring” — you’re not alone 😮‍💨

But here’s the thing… winter is not the time to wait for motivation. Because motivation disappears faster than daylight this time of year 😂

This is the season where habits quietly do the heavy lifting. A walk when you can be bothered (and sometimes when you can’t), getting some protein in instead of random snack chaos, moving your body even when it’s not perfect, and looking after yourself so the winter lurgies don’t completely wipe you out.

Nothing extreme. No all-or-nothing energy. Just little things that add up.

Because babe… the women feeling strong, energised and confident by spring? They didn’t magically wake up motivated. They just kept showing up — messy and imperfect counts 😘

So don’t disappear on yourself this winter. Keep moving. Keep nourishing yourself. Keep doing the little things.

There’s a moment.

You’re about to bail.
You tell yourself you’re tired. Busy. Flat. “I’ll start fresh Monday.”

But then you remember…

You’re not 25 anymore.
You’re 45+.
Your hormones have shifted.
And muscle? It’s not about looking “toned” anymore.

It’s about:
✔ keeping your metabolism from slowing to a crawl
✔ protecting your bones as estrogen declines
✔ keeping insulin in check (hello belly fat storage)
✔ staying strong enough to carry shopping, grandkids, and your own life
✔ aging with independence — not fragility

Motivation is a feeling.
Muscle is a strategy.

And strategy wins every time.

Why do we hit midlife and suddenly feel bloated, tired, craving sugar, moody as hell and mildly offended by everything by 4pm? 😂

You know the vibe…

Flat tummy in the morning.
Pregnant by dinner.
Snack drawer calling your name.
Energy in the bloody bin 😮‍💨

Sure… hormones play a part.

But sometimes?

Your gut’s the little chaos goblin causing drama behind the scenes 👀

Because when your gut’s struggling, everything feels harder.

🍫 Cravings
