Thank you to everyone who helped at our recent Bunnings Sausage Sizzle last Saturday! 🌭

This photo represents the many members and volunteers who have supported our Bunnings fundraisers over the years. We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed their time, whether cooking, serving, setting up, packing down, or transporting equipment.

Our Bunnings Sausage Sizzles are an important part of our fundraising efforts and help support the ongoing activities and development of our club.

📅 Our next Bunnings Sausage Sizzle will be on Sunday, 26 July.

Some great photos have come through from members and friends of Townsville Table Tennis who recently travelled to South Korea to compete in the ITTF World Masters Championships Gangneung 2026, held from 5–12 June 🏓

The event attracted more than 4,000 participants from around 100 countries and regions, with players competing across singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.

Forget staying home - come and join us for a night of table tennis, food and fun! 🏓

Our Family and Friends Social Table Tennis Night is back on Friday 26 June.

Expect plenty of games, a relaxed atmosphere, music throughout the night, cheap drinks and a free sausage sizzle for all players 🌭🍻

Did you know we host Swish Table Tennis sessions every Saturday from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm? 🏓

Swish Table Tennis is a modified version of table tennis designed for people with vision impairment, and our club is equipped with the specialised tables, balls and equipment needed to run the program.

A great way to stay active, social and connected through sport.

We’re proud to support PingPongParkinson at Townsville Table Tennis.

Table tennis has been shown to support mobility, coordination, cognitive function and social connection for people living with Parkinson’s disease, all while having fun in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Our PingPongParkinson sessions run every Monday:
• Social play: 9am – 11am
• Training session: 11am – 12pm

After one week of high-level training in China, Taleisha Gaeta is now competing at the WTT Youth Contender in Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭🏓

Taleisha’s group matches will include tough international opponents, including the current World Youth No. 83 from Thailand and World Youth No. 166 from Singapore.

An amazing opportunity to test herself against some of the world’s best young players and continue gaining valuable international experience.

More than 20 Townsville Table Tennis members made the trip to Mackay over the weekend to compete at the 2026 Mackay Open Championships.

A huge congratulations to all of our players who represented the club so well, and especially to those who brought home podium finishes 👏🏻

Great to see such a strong Townsville presence across the tournament, with players of all ages and levels getting involved, competing hard and supporting each other throughout the weekend.

A few members are missing from this photo, but we loved seeing so many of our players there representing the club 🐯
