Big congratulations to our 2026 North Queensland Games ambassador Liam Paro on securing his next World Title fight 👏🏽🏆

A huge world title fight is officially set for Brisbane, with Liam fighting for the IBF Welterweight World Title on home soil this June 24.

From grassroots sport in Mackay to the world stage, Liam continues to make North Queensland proud and inspire the next generation of athletes across our region.

We can’t wait to see him back in action. Let’s get behind him 💥
