Over the past week we’ve had a significant number of our senior cricket players represent both North Queensland and Queensland at the Australian Masters Indoor Cricket National Championships!

Awesome to see so many of our players competing at such a high level and representing the region proudly.

It’s a new era at Wildcatz!

Tonight we officially debuted our brand new indoor courts, new rebound courts and sand top up, and rolled out our new operating system — all in one night. A big undertaking, and the venue rose to it.

Every court was in play. Netball, soccer, and rebound volleyball running side by side, scoreboards lit up across the venue, and a crowd that brought genuine energy from first whistle to last. Nights like this are exactly what we’ve been building toward.

Thank you to every player, captain, official and supporter who was part of night one. You’ve set the standard for what comes next.

Shout out to all the volunteers behind the scenes that helped make this possible! Without you we wouldn’t be able to operate yet alone have a night like tonight!

This is only the beginning — and the next chapter is going to be exciting! Stay tuned for what’s coming next! 🐾

Loved having the Star 1063 Townsville Star Listeners down at Wildcatz tonight 🏏🔥 Went down 105-63 to the Weak Gutted Slogs but they gave it a red-hot crack. Fresh uniforms looking sharp too 👌 Catch Adam on-air from 6am tomorrow 🎙️

Term 2 Blast is about to get underway at Wildcatz! Register now to secure your child’s spot!

Just because the season is over doesn’t mean we can’t keep having cricket fun! Queensland Cricket will be running two awesome 8-week Cricket Blast programs at Wildcatz Indoor Sports (Official) in Term 2, starting on May 1. There is a 45-minute session for our Rookies (5-7 years) and a one-hour session for our Challengers (8-11 years). The season costs $99, but include a Blast pack, while the first 20 to register will also receive a FREE PASS to NINJA PARK! But be quick because groups are limited to 16 participants in each.
