The home of the Townsville Aqua Jets Swim Club is the Castle Hill PCYC, located at 4 Hugh Street, West End, Townsville.

A welcoming, family friendly swimming club, focused on providing young swimmers with a fun, safe environment where they are encouraged to improve their technique and reach their full swimming potential. Coach Chris Hanson:
Chris is an experienced and qualified Bronze licence Coach with a extensive background in swimming and has spent the last 2 yrs being mentored by a Silver licence performance coach. ( Garry Hanson)
He is extremely passionate about encouraging and developing young swimmers. Chris is approachable, enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated. He is able to develop a strong rapport with swimmers and their families. He aims to develop young, up and coming swimmers’ capabilities beyond basic aquatic skills with a focus on improving stroke efficiency, technique, strength, conditioning and preparing young swimmers to compete at race meets. Chris comes from a competitive swimming background; his experience not only as a swimmer, but as a parent of a young swimmer, and as a coach is invaluable to the Club.

COACH CHRIS IS SUPER EXCITED FOR THE EXCITING SEASONS OF SWIMMING TO COME.

Hi all,

As you all know Aquajets handed back the lease to the Harold Phillips Park complex Pool, which left a lot in the unknown of steps moving forward, well Coach Chris has started at a new venue NBLC it's now known as a Rackley's swim school venue👏👏 so if you do wish to keep swimming with Coach Chris please come out to NBLC ( Northern Beaches Leisure Centre) and checkout the new session times.
