🏆 YOUTH PLAYER OF THE YEAR – 2026 🏆

Our Youth Player of the Year is a joint award this year, proudly presented to our U15 FQPL players, Nate Tyack and Dane Newman. ⚽️

Both boys were named 2026 Shadow Players for the Football Queensland Emerging Socceroos Squad, recognising their commitment and development at a high level.

Dane Newman is a Defender for our U15 FQPL team, while Nate Tyack plays Attacking Midfield. Both have shown strong leadership throughout the season, taking on the responsibility of captaining the team at various stages.

They have also been outstanding role models for Wulguru United, achieving 100% attendance at training and games throughout the season.

Importantly, both boys consistently demonstrate our club values, volunteering their time throughout the year at working bees, supporting our grounds and facilities, and helping referee at the Wulguru Juniors Carnival.

Congratulations Nate & Dane on a very well-deserved joint 2026 Youth Player of the Year award. We are incredibly proud to have you both representing Wulguru United. ❤️💙
