How They Work Together

Think of it like this:
• Acceleration = how fast you build speed
• Max velocity = how fast you can go

If either is lacking:
• Great acceleration + low max velocity → you “top out” early and get passed
• High max velocity + poor acceleration → you never fully access your speed in time

Townsville Sports Precinct Field 1 has entered its annual maintenance era.

Repairs are being undertaken to the grass field 1 to ensure the community have the highest standard fields for use and enjoyment in the new season.

They will be working hard to reopen Field 1 in early January 2026.

Field 2 has regular bookings for the NQ Cowboys preseason training due to Cowboys HQ also conducting grass maintenance.

Due to this, unfortunately I won’t be able to conduct grass speed sessions for team sports until the new year.

Keep an eye out for the bookings page for updated session times for 2026.
