Volunteer Options:

Merch assist Saturday 10am - 4pm
Sunday 5:30am - 11am

Bag drop Sunday from 4:30am

🚨🚨⚠️⚠️BEWARE OF SCAMS⚠️⚠️🚨🚨

While we are super happy that demand is high and events are sold out or selling out fast it is important to be aware of scammers if trying to source a ticket!!!

There is no "TICKET" to the events. You are registered through our platform. You can transfer your registration to another person, HOWEVER Seller & Buyer need to CONFIRM with us BEFORE making any payments.

TRANSFER PROCESS:
1. Seller wants to sell a registration to a Buyer.
2. Seller contacts us via email at [email protected] about registration transfer and CC in the Buyer.
3. We confirm and approve.
4. The Buyer purchases from the seller.
5. The Transfer is completed by our staff.

In the past people have FAKED transfer approval emails from us, make sure the communication chain is legitimate.
We have had people turn up to the event thinking they had purchased a ticket. They had not, they had been scammed.

RED FLAGS:
Overly time sensitive?
Is the sellers story ridiculous?
Strange payment method?
Non-legitimate email, website or screenshot?

Scammers don't just want you to pay your fake taxes with gift cards, they will pretend to be a mother with a sick child selling tickets they no longer need. Be careful out there! Don't Get scammed!!!

Join Townsville Road Runners for the Ross Dam run this Saturday am.
This is an opportunity for a flat, speedy course and to check your progress towards the McDonald's Townsville Running Festival

Location: Ross Dam

Date: 18 July 2026

Time: 6:30 am start, the race brief will commence 10 minutes prior to the start time

Distance: Short course 5km, long course 10km

Cost: Gold coin donation for members and $6 for non members paid on the day.
Race Sponsor Posture and Pain Clinic
Have offered to pay the entry fee for the Dam Time trial for anyone who is registered for the running festival.

So if you dont normally run with Road Runners , get down there for a cracker run and a chat and lets build some momentum together.
