Celebrating Our Junior Girls in Golf 🏌⛳

Thank you for joining us as we celebrated the accomplishments of our young women in golf so far this year. It was wonderful to see the girls shine, as they always do, and we are grateful at Townsville Golf Club to play a small part in each of their special journeys.

The Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship Program states:

"The program is designed to foster a deep love for golf by creating a strong bond between girls and their golf club/facility. By encouraging and supporting junior program participants to continue their golfing journey beyond the introductory phase and to obtain a handicap, this program seeks to reduce dropout rates of teenage girls in golf and improve long-term health outcomes."

The smiles, friendships, confidence and enthusiasm captured in these photos from our wonderful young ladies perfectly reflect the spirit of this program. They also represent just a small glimpse of the energy we see across all of our junior golf programs, where participation continues to grow and more young golfers are discovering a lifelong love of the game.

⛳️ What a Fantastic Day Sunday Funday on the Course! ⛳️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for another successful Sunday Funday i-GiGL event at Townsville Golf Club. With a full field and perfect conditions, the day was filled with great golf, plenty of laughs, and wonderful company.

It was fantastic to see so many members and guests out enjoying the course and making the most of the day. Events like these are what make our club such a special community.

Kicking off at 8am with a motivational clinic led by our PGA Professional, followed by a super fun and relaxing time on the course.
