We’re pleased to let our patrons know that the Indoor Pool will re-open tomorrow, Monday 7 September! 🙌

Please also be reminded that School Swimming Lessons will commence tomorrow and will impact pool availability during the following times:

📅 7 – 11 September
🕘 9:00am – 2:30pm

📅 14 – 17 September
🕘 9:00am – 12:00pm

We encourage all patrons to plan your trips accordingly and allow for changes to pool availability during these sessions.

Due to unforeseen maintenance, our indoor pool will be closed today.

Unfortunately, all swimming lessons scheduled for today will also be cancelled.

A friendly reminder to our patrons that School Swimming Lessons commence on Monday 7 September.

During this period, Indoor Pool availability will be reduced at the following times:

📅 7 – 11 September:
🕘 9:00am – 2:30pm

📅 14 – 17 September:
🕘 9:00am – 12:00pm

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we welcome local schools for their swimming programs. 💦

📢 IMPORTANT POOL & SQUAD UPDATE 🏊‍♀️

Dear Patrons and Squad Members,

Please be advised that the Long Tan Memorial Pool will be CLOSED on Tuesday, 1 September for scheduled works.

We’re excited to see these works take place and look forward to the improvements they will bring to our venue! We appreciate your patience and understanding while we continue to improve our facilities for our community. 💙

🏊 SQUAD MEMBERS:
Due to the scheduled works, Monday afternoon squad will be LONG COURSE.

🌊🚤 A Great Weekend of Training at Long Tan Memorial Pool!

Over the weekend we were proud to welcome the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard to Long Tan Memorial Pool, over the weekend for some valuable training.

It was fantastic to see the Coast Guard team putting their skills into practice, building confidence, teamwork and preparedness. Their dedication to training and commitment to supporting the community is truly inspiring. 👏💙

From all of us at Long Tan Memorial Pool – Rackley Swimming, thank you for choosing our facility for your training. We’re proud to support the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard and the important work they do to help keep our community safe. 🌊⚓️

🏊‍♀️ Indoor Pool Temperature Update

Good morning, patrons!

Due to an unforeseen maintenance issue, the indoor pool temperature is currently 27°C this morning.

We’re pleased to reassure you that the pool heaters are working, however, there will be a delay while the water temperature returns to its normal set point of 32°C.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to restore the pool to its usual temperature. 💙

Just a quick reminder that there will be no squad session this Saturday.

Coach Luc will be assisting with the Magnetic Island to Townsville Swim 🌊🏝️🏊‍♂️
