We’re incredibly proud to share that the 2026 MD Events Sportsman’s Luncheon raised a total of $7,000 for Tom Tugai.

At just 17 years old, Tom suffered a devastating and life-changing injury during a school football match, sustaining a severe C4-C5 fracture-dislocation that resulted in a complete spinal cord injury.

With a long road ahead, we were proud to use this year’s luncheon as an opportunity to rally behind Tom and his family and help ease some of the financial pressure that comes with his recovery.

Through funds raised from the Calcutta and the generous donations of those in attendance, all funds will go directly towards supporting Tom and his family throughout his recovery.

What an afternoon! 👏
