We are incredibly proud of our Kedron-Wavell Cougars Sapphire team, who have finished an extraordinary 2026 season as HPNL Sapphire Series Champions!

It wasn’t always an easy road, but this group continued to show resilience, determination and belief in each other. Behind every game is an enormous amount of training, preparation and commitment from our athletes, supported every step of the way by our dedicated coaches, managers and support staff.

To finish as Minor Premiers and then take home the Championship is an outstanding achievement and a fitting reward for everything this group has put into the season.

2026 HPNL RUBY SERIES CHAMPIONS 🏆

Back-to-back Ruby Series Champions! ❤️

What an incredible achievement from our Kedron-Wavell Cougars Ruby team, who have capped off another outstanding season by claiming the 2026 HPNL Ruby Series Championship!

This group has shown enormous determination throughout the year, backing each other on court and finding a way when games went right down to the wire.

That success doesn’t happen without the commitment of our players and the tireless work of the coaches, managers and support staff behind them. So much happens away from game day to give every athlete the opportunity to perform at their best.

Minor Premiers. Back-to-back Champions. An incredible season from an incredible group.

Tomorrow, our Warriors take on Endeavour Sports High School in the National Schoolboy Cup Final.

This is the group representing Wavell on the national stage. To every player and coach: the whole school community is behind you. Play with pride and show them what it means to be a Warrior.
