A dream moment I’ll never forget. ⚽️🐐

With Lionel Messi announcing his retirement from international football, I’ve been thinking back to one of the most surreal moments of my career.

Growing up in New Zealand dreaming of becoming a professional footballer, you never really imagine that one day you’ll be standing on the same pitch as Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona.

But I got to live that dream.

It’s when you finish playing and looking back now, that you realise just how special it was to share a pitch with one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

For me, it’ll always be one of those “I was there” moments. ❤️

Congratulations on an unbelievable international career, Leo. 🇦🇷🏆

An absolute privilege to have shared the pitch with you.
