💙❤️ TOWNSVILLE CHIEFS — $800 DONATION TO FUEL 4 SCHOOLS ❤️💙

What an awesome day of fun, laughter, competition and community collaboration! 🐉💪

The Townsville Chiefs MRLC were proud to make an $800 donation to local charity Fuel For Schools Ltd, helping support an organisation doing great things for kids and families in our local community.

A huge THANK YOU to NQ Phoenix Dragon Boat Club Inc Townsville for organising such a fantastic community event. It’s a great example of what can happen when different community groups come together, have some fun and collectively give back to charity. 🙌

This year, the Chiefs were fortunate enough to enter four teams into the regatta, and our crews certainly didn’t disappoint!

🏆 One Chiefs team secured a spot in the Major Semi-Final, finishing 3rd overall for the day.

💪 Two more Chiefs teams battled their way into the Minor Semi-Final, finishing 5th and 6th overall.

🐢 And a special mention to Chiefs Team Turtles, who managed to set a course record in some very windy conditions with an awesome heat time! 🌬️🔥

Most importantly, it wasn’t just about the results. It was about getting out there, having a laugh, our workplace coming together, meeting people, supporting one another and raising money for a great local cause.

Fun. Laughter. Competition. Community. One cause. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who gave up their time, jumped in a boat, helped organise, supported the teams, cheered from the sidelines and helped make the day such a success.

🐾❤️ TOWNSVILLE CHIEFS SUPPORTING ANGEL-PAWS ❤️🐾

It was great catching up with Louise yesterday at Petstock Fairfield Waters. The Townsville Chiefs were proud to make another small contribution to a very important local cause.

The team has donated $1,507 in kitten food to help Angel-Paws Dog & Cat Rescue as we head towards what we’re told is going to be another busy kitten season. 🐱❤️

A huge thank you to Louise, the Angel-Paws team and all of their tireless volunteers who give their time, energy and love to helping animals in need. What you do for our local community is absolutely incredible. 👏👏

It was also awesome to have some of our Chiefs “football” players there today to hand over the donation and represent the team. ⚽️💙❤️

And finally, a massive 👏👏👏 to Drew for the huge amount of work he does behind the scenes to get our Chiefs teams involved in the Jennifer Board Memorial Football Carnival — and to help make this donation happen.

This is what the Townsville Chiefs MRLC are all about — mates, community and locals supporting locals. ❤️💙

Four Townsville Chiefs MRLC dragon
boating teams, are locked in for the August 30th community dragon boating regatta. Organised by NQ Phoenix Dragon Boat Club Inc Townsville. They are raising money for a local charity Fuel For Schools Ltd. We have a great association with this awesome charity already.

$800 has been donated from our meat tray ticket and Chiefs clothing sales.

Looking forward to another great community event we have supported for a few years now.

Thanks to our awesome paddlers who are giving up their day off for this.

Anyone else keen to have a paddle???? Pm us.
