Another weekend, another round of cricket in the books for the ! ๐
There were some tough results across the grades, but plenty of individual highlights, debut moments and team efforts to celebrate โ including a winning start for our Womenโs League team! ๐๐ฅ

Norths chased down Westsโ 62 runs, finishing with 6 wickets in hand.
A tough day with the bat, with Beau McCarron 11, Sahan Wijayasekara 9 and Noah Wylie 9* leading the scoring.
๐ Skipper Lachlan Ford returned to start his season and made an immediate impact with 2 wickets.
The team also worked hard in the field, with two run outs helping secure early wickets. A special mention to debutant Harley Gough, who delivered a run out for the team! ๐

Wests won the toss and sent Brothers in to bat, with Brothers posting 172 before Wests fell just short in the chase.
The wickets were shared around with a solid all-round bowling effort from the team, while Grant Collins & Lewis Lampton both contributed with a catch and a run out each. ๐
A tough one, but plenty of contributions across the team!

Wests chalked up 153, but Wanderers chased down the total to take the win.
โญ Carter Hague 60 led the way with the bat, backed up by a steady 33 from Dean Hanrahan.
There were plenty of valuable contributions through the middle order, with the lads building a bold partnership to keep the innings moving. ๐ฅ
And Carter wasnโt finished there โ backing up with the ball to take 4 wickets!
๐ฅ Ayden Bye added 3 wickets, while debutant Thomas Jackson picked up his first Third Grade wicket AND a catch. What a way to start! ๐

Saints sent Wests in to bat before chasing down the total to take the win.
โญ Amardeep Singh was a standout with the bat, top scoring with 25, before backing it up with 3 wickets.
๐ฅ Akhil Thottananiyil Mathew tore through the Saints batting lineup with 4 wickets, while debutants Justine Joseph & Anadu Baby also contributed with the ball.

Our Womenโs League team have opened their season with a win, chasing down Wanderersโ 76 to finish 3/101!
โญ Opener Summer Christopher top scored with 25, building a strong opening partnership with Sophie Parker, who made 15.
With the ball, debutants Taylah, Mila, Eliza & Emerson all joined skipper Amayah on the wickets tally, making it a fantastic team effort with plenty of new Westies making their mark!๐
