This Men’s Health Week, AusDBF encourages all men and boys in our dragon boating community to prioritise their wellbeing and check in with those around them.

Whether it’s getting active, talking to a mate, booking a health check, or taking time to recharge, every step matters.

Strong communities support each other- on and off the water.

What a fantastic Regatta at Southern Region Regatta at Nowra. With our friends from Hawkesbury River Dragons, we managed to medal for women’s and men’s races. We also got our L2 Sweeps extra races towards their L3 accreditation and they steered those boats better than some of the more experienced Sweeps on the day 😀. Thank you Nowra for a great day.

A lot of firsts from our Kalang River regatta - first time regatta Sweeping for Emu and Donna and the crew turned on a first in those heats especially. First time regatta racing for Kirsty and a first place in her first race, nice work crew, she is now officially hooked. 40min time for 7.5k broken with a 39.01 achieved. Our lovely junior Zali has now cemented a place as Stroke and also jumped on as drummer at the last minute. Also worth a mention that as a club we nailed it in getting our meal ordered before the rush at the local hotel, that takes many years of practice and dedication to achieve 😁 Thank you to the amazing Janene for volunteering for the weekend in ‘not so nice’ conditions xo you are a legend Janene 🩷
