All monies have now been transferred to our causes.

For clarity, The Trangie Hospital/Paliative care suite money was transferred to the hospital auxiliary committee (one of the options provided to me by the Hospitals HSM).

A final word ….

I have sat & had a cry today, tears of gratitude, relief & pride in what was an amazingly successful & fun event on Saturday at Trangie Bowling Club

We are pleased to confirm, the total amount which has now been transferred to the heart foundation from our fundraising was $10,948.76 (A mix of Rafflelink proceeds, direct donations & event day money).

In addition to this, we will be donating the full bowlers fees taken from the day, $1,185 to the Trangie hospital as our community donation. We hope this allows them to continue to provide exceptional care & support to patients in Paliative suite & their families, as they all so wonderfully & kindly showed mum & us all last year.

Over the years, Frosty’s Memorial Bowls Day events have now raised a GRAND TOTAL of $52,326.86 for The Heart Foundation. This money goes toward education & research to help improve the quality of life to those suffering with heart conditions & save lives!

Mum once said, she will stop with Frosty’s Day once she got to the magic $50,000 & while unfortunately she was not with us to have seen this happen on Saturday, I feel so honoured & blessed & full of pride we managed to hit that marker in this final event.

I’m certain both Frosty & mum watched it all, laughed along with us, watching the bowls, hearing the tales told & cheering us on from above.
