Build strength....develop courage....learn a new skill....have fun!

Join Ginny Clarke for "Inversion Excursion" - a 3 hour workshop which focuses on safe foundations, strength building, and confidence, providing the steps needed to help you lift those feet off the earth.

Inversions are any poses where the heart is higher than the head, like handstand, headstand and shoulder stand.

Many people think….
* “I’m not strong enough.”
* “I’m too old.”
* “I’m scared of hurting my neck.”
* “I’m not flexible enough.”

You don’t need to be able to do a handstand. You just need to be curious about getting upside down.

Yoga reminds us that we are not fixed or finished. Each time we step onto the mat, we meet ourselves anew—sometimes stronger, sometimes softer, sometimes challenged, and sometimes at ease.

Our practice invites us to let go of rigid expectations and approach ourselves with curiosity and compassion. What served us yesterday may not be what we need today. By holding our self-perceptions lightly, we create space for growth, transformation, and deeper self-understanding.

Join Angelique this week on Tuesday and Wednesday form 5.15pm as an opportunity to unfold, evolve, and embrace who you are becoming.

SATURDAY 13TH JUNE - INVERSION EXCURSION WORKSHOP

Inversions are poses where we turn ourselves upside down - where our heart is higher than our head. Therefore, down dog is an inversion, so is legs-up-the-wall (viparita karani) and so is headstand. Never think that if you can't do headstand that you're not a yogi...as we always say, yoga is for everyone and every-body and there's always a variation available to suit you.

But, if you are ready to try inversions or want to refine your technique, join Ginny for a 3 hour adventure into inversions such as headstand, handstand, shoulderstand and perhaps a few fun arm balances.

Inversions are a great way to build courage, a sense of inner (and outer) power and are certainly fun.

All levels are welcome to this course (as long as you have some yoga experience) as every inversion has alternatives and modifications to help us build towards the main pose and gain similar benefits.

Hanuman Das will also discuss incarnation – disincarnation - reincarnation - which leads to liberation.
