Toronto Amateur Sailing Club (TASC) in Lake Macquarie are seeking sailing instructors to assist in the upcoming Junior Learn to Sail programme (October/November 2026).

Our local sailing club is run and maintained by its members. The club has a long, proud history of promoting the sport of sailing and has been home to Senior and Junior Champions.

We specifically require Australian Sailing trained instructors and assistant instructors with a current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Amazing weekend hosting the Sabot NSW Championships this weekend! We had a full house this morning with our Learn to Sail (Junior, Adult and Windsurfer) and growing green fleet in action as well!! Thanks to all our volunteers and the visiting Sabot Fleet!!

Heron National Championships held at Wangi Amateur Sailing Club. Shannon and Imogen Corbett took on the 41 boat fleet in a wide variety of conditions, including some classic NEers, to finish 12th!! With the regatta being close to home Harvey and Liam Corbett jumped on as crew on 2 visiting boats as well!!

Open Skiff National Championships held at Manly Yacht Club. Zach took the opportunity to head to Sydney to compete in his first Open Skiff Nationals. In a wide variety of conditions he finished 5th overall in a tight top of the table leader-board and secured 2nd U13 (1st U12!!)!!

Moth Foiling National Championships held at McCrae Yacht Club. Scott Babbage and Grahame Prosser made the trip to Victoria to take on a talented fleet in high speed action! Scott finishing 2nd and Grahame 6th overall!!

Optimist National Championships held at Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania. Zach and Mila travelled to Hobart for the Optimist National Championships, sailing extremely well in a tricky regatta with days of no sailing due to too much and not enough wind! Zach secured 1st Opti 12YO and Mila 1st Opti 9YO!

Skate National Championships held at Ceduna Sailing Club. Ken Davies and Lachlan Schroder made the trip to South Australia to enjoy a mix of conditions to finish just off the podium in 4th overall!!

505 National Championships held at Fremantle Sailing Club. Returning member Ayden Menzies and crew enjoyed the "Fremantle Doctor" and a high quality fleet, finishing 10th overall!!
