At Sunday’s Lifecycle Classic Auscycling QLD awarded QCRS podiums and two of our members graded the podium. Josie Hooper was awarded overall Women C winner for 2026, congratulations to Josie. And in Women D, Sarah Austin was awarded runner up in the series, likewise well done Sarah on your consistency.

Ladies and Gentlemen the 55-59 Time Trial WORLD CHAMPION 🌈 Anne Elliott

Congratulations to Anne and Maddy who are representing Australia at the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships over in Japan!

Earlier today they had their Time Trial where Anne was able to place 1st in her age against some stiff international competition. This makes Anne the World Champ for 55-59!

Maddy has been battling a fierce cold but has nonetheless done herself and us proud representing our country for the first time and racing overseas for the first time! Maddy was able to snag 13th in 19-34.

Please wish them both luck and all other club members competing later in the week at the Gran Fondo World Championships road race! Please keep us updated with your results and any pictures!
