Funeral for Jim Stevens will be on Thursday 25th of June 2026.
Service to celebrate Jim’s life at Burstow’s Chapel Ruthven Street Toowoomba at 12:00 O’clock.
Darling Downs Field Archers members are asked to wear club shirts.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jim Stevens. Jim was a Life Member of the Darling Downs Field Archers. For over thirty years Jim rarely missed a club shoot, and never missed a working bee. Jim attended many interclub competitions and was a popular chatterbox around many a campfire.
For the last couple of years as his health deteriorated, Jim resided at Nubeena Aged Care. Jim passed away on Friday morning (12.06.2026) at the age of 91years, and is survived by his wife Honor Stevens and son Patrick.
Jim will be sadly missed by his friends and family and the archery community that he was so proud to be a member of.

Hi Everyone
This sunday we will be holding a grading round muster is 730 am for a 8 am shoot .
Also our aim is coming up August 2nd all positions will be vacant. Our shed is also coming along nicely a huge thank you to everyone who has been out working on it . You guys are super stars with out you it wouldn't get done .

Our shed so far . A Huge thank you to Zac Kronk for bring out his tools and working all weekend with the help of Col Kronk, Mick Murphy , Mick Whipps . Also our other helpers are Graham Wilson, Michael Condon , Dave Waters. Your hard work does not go unnoticed you all give 100% to the club and for that we have achieved so much . We are always looking for helpers around the club so if anyone has some time available during the week or on the weekends we don't have a shoot and weather permitting please come out and help . With out volunteers our club wouldn't be where it is today .
