I've been strugling to come up with words to discribe Saturday night's feature race at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway - the onboard footage can speak for itself. Hats off to the track staff - what a race track!

Opportunities to fight for a win like this are few and far between, so to have one taken away by something completley out of our control was really disappointing. Considering what could have happened, we were very fortunate to only have minor damage and will be back in action on Friday night for the final wingless event at Archerfield Speedway 💪

With the support of our team partners this year, we've been putting ourselves in these kinds of positions more often, so we can't thank them enough for their help in getting us to the pointy end of the field.

2023 Australian Title A-main at Archerfield Speedway : 13th -> 6th 🏁

To say we're ecstatic would be an understatement! Our first Australian Title attempt couldn't have gone much better and exceeded all of our expectations. It was a blast mixing it up with the best in the nation, and being close to the pointy end was special.

A massive thank you goes out to our team partners who put us in a position to put our best foot forward this weekend. We couldn't have done it without you!

We've got two races left in our 2022/23 season schedule - 27th of May in Toowoomba, then the final 50 Lapper at Archerfield on the 2nd of June.

Time to go again! Night 1 has Tim sitting 7th in points out of 71 cars, with great results in our heats and prelim A-Main. Very happy with our weekend so far!

Heat 1: 2nd > 1st
Heat 2: 8th > 5th
Heat 3: 10th > 4th
Prelim A: 7th > 9th

Tonight we have 1 Heat, and C/B/A Mains. A main being 40 laps. Keep an eye on our stories to keep up to date!

Australian Title time! 💪🏼 Tonight kicks off night 1 of 2 for our first attempt at an Australian title. Tim and the team are excited to see how we shape up against the best in the country. Let’s hope Archerfield provides some home track advantage! It’s quite a special occasion, being the last Australian title to be crowned in Archerfield’s long history.

We would like to thank a few of our team partners that have made it possible for us to be in this position.

Tim, Jason and the team at Bendtech have been instrumental in keeping us in the game and pushing us to be the best we can be. Jay at Autobarn Toowoomba has always kept us stocked with all vital consumables, always coming through in times of need and we couldn’t do it without him and the team. 35 cars lined up for another competitive night, with the Australian Title around the corner. Tim showed encouraging pace, starting 5th and finishing 5th on a very slick race track. As always, track position and heat race performance was key to success. Congratulations to Scott Thomsen, Jacob Jolley and Liam Atkinson on the podium. 💪🏼

Early setback meant recovery all night at Archerfield Speedway 🥵🏁

A flat right rear tyre when running 5th in the 1st heat resulted in a DNF. After a great run in the 2nd heat, Tim was able to finish 2nd and recover valuable points putting him in the 13th starting position for the A-Main.

Tight racing in the pack and a good racing surface made for some great battles, with Tim finding the top and passing his way to 9th. Happy to make the most out of a tricky start to the night.
