Drag racing resumed Thursday night at Nomad Raceway. A huge roll up. We ran round one of the Movie Car Class. I will do a separate report on that soon. Big fields (we had to limit the last class due to time). Paul won the light of the night money. Russ and Chris joined us for their first night.

Movie Cars. 1.300 index. 9 entries. Green light only to start (street outlaws style). Concourse Jake Lightening McQueen. TQ was Wayne 1.303. 9 then raced 8, winner raced 7th and so on which in the end left Kenny (Mater) on top after round 1.

Show n Go. 1.300 Index. 30 entries. Concourse Pete Batman. TQ Chris (on debut) Chev Truck 1.301. 16 car bump 1.338. Winner Ken 1.312 over Craig (Aluma Coupe) 1.306. New record to Pauls Muppet Mobile.

Nomad Street. 1.150 index. 19 entries. Concourse Robs Torana. TQ Paul Chrysler 1.151. 16 car bump 1.238. Final Rob Camaro 1.170 d Craig Torana XU1 breakout. New record to Craig XU1.

Nomad Outlaws. .850 index. 10 entries (reduced due to curfew!!!). We ran late.. Concourse Bungeye Fram. TQ Wayne Pennzoil TF .857. 8 car bump 1.025. Final Wayne Pennzoil TF D Ken Mustang.
