Despite being a Toowoomba local and Get Stump'd group member, Joe was the unanimous pick of the entire Tournament Team.

Not only did Joe play every event he possibly could, he was there for setup, the coaching clinics, private coaching session, he competed every day of the tournament, and played in our hybrid showcase event with our para-athletes. Then after everything was said and done, after medalling in 4/5 events, he was still there packing down nets and ripping up tape with us at 5.30pm on Sunday afternoon.

Joe was described as a gentlemen of the game, keeping vibes high, and playing out of his skin in highly competitive divisions.

It is people like Joe that make running this tournament an absolute pleasure, and people like Joe that keep us coming back bigger and better.

Congratulations Joe and we will make sure to offer more events in 2027 to keep you busy 😂

Well, another TCB in the books after a cracking 3 days!

With some weary and heatstroked bodies we just wanna quickly say THANKYOU TCB26 fam!

Last years SlamBreaker was the biggest one in pickleballtournamentsaustralia history.

Can this years beat it? What is the SlamBreaker event you ask?
✔️ Team event of 4 players per team
✔️ Tourney Team place these teams together based on DUPR to create equal teams
✔️ Results NOT entered into DUPR
✔️ Matches played rally scoring
✔️ First to 22 win by 2
✔️ Round Robin followed by medal playoff

This is your fun, social way to unwind after gender doubles day before getting out and about testing the local cuisine and beverages 🍷
