Darren Lange Swimming Academy - Centenary Heights

Darren Lange Swimming Academy - Centenary Heights Welcome to the DLSA Centenary Heights, our Water Safety to Competitive Squad Programming facility.

From infants & toddlers to water confidence & learn-to-swim to fitness & competitive squad programs, our unique Level Progression is designed & maintained by Toowoomba’s Olympic swimmer & Commonwealth Games Gold & Silver medallist Darren Lange. Utilising Darren’s extensive biomechanical knowledge, this specialised program has a strong focus on developing the fundamentals of supporting the body in

a fluid environment & movement through water before attempting more advanced skills. The result is a natural & incremental 14-stage level progression from infants to squad swimming with the end result ensuring every child can develop their swimming skills to the best of their ability, whether that is to a competitive level or simply being able to jump into an aquatic environment confident in their swimming ability.

Our Story

We are Water Safety Specialists, aquatic educators providing specialised programs to all age levels from 3 months to adults.

Learning-to-Swim is not just another fun activity to do with your child, it is an essential part of our Aussie way of life.

Our 16 stage Level Progression guides your child through the Water Safety and Learning-to-Swim journey. With 2 indoor heated facilities at Wilsonton and Centenary Heights, we offer our program on a perpetual basis for year round, seamless progression.

Give your child the gift of swimming and they’ll not only have a healthy skill for life, but they’ll have a skill that enables them to get the most out of being in and around water activities throughout their entire life.
