CLOTHING - Dragons Gear etc

Hi all

As we clean up and remove things from the sports centre, we’ve come across so much stuff, including lots of clothing, hats etc

I am thinking of opening up some time possibly on Sunday for people to come in, look through things and possibly get clothing if it’s something you are interested in.

We also have hundreds of our Toowoomba Dragons Club hats. These we are selling well below cost price as well.

Is anyone interested in coming in at some stage on Sunday to look through the mountains of clothing? If so, please comment with your time availability (for example you can come in anytime Sunday OR maybe between 9am and 2pm). Depending on the interest, I will then post with a confirmed time that we will be open for anyone to come in!

🎄I know everyone is doing it tough atm, but even if you have even a few dollars you can spare, please consider donating to this fundraiser that Dana-May is doing. 🎅

The funds will go directly towards buying gift cards for local Toowoomba families doing it tough this Christmas. The gift cards will be used either for small gifts for children or groceries for a family who probably scrimps and tries to make every dollar stretch to feed their family.

We are all well aware of the huge cost of living expenses and how very little our hard earnt money stretches at present. So many families are barely scraping by each week or are using credit cards to try to keep the electricity on or buy the very basics of food, so gifts are either sending people more into debt or just can’t be purchased at all.

Dana is such a beautiful human and she is this same kind and generous person every other day and month of the year so it wasn’t hard for me to want to support the fundraiser and what she is trying to do. If you do have a bit of spare change or are lucky enough to be in the position to donate, please please consider doing this.

While we can’t fix anyone’s permanent situation, we can make a few more people smile and enjoy Christmas Day with their loved ones. Your support will be so appreciated by not just Dana, but Lyle and I too. And I’m more than positive that the family who benefits from your donation will appreciate it 10 times more than we do.

Quick Update: The cricket pitches, soccer fields, and netball courts are taking a breather after this weeks games. Time to trade the bats, balls, and goals for some holiday cheer! 🎄✨

Hats off to our cricket maestros, soccer wizards, and netball dynamos for a phenomenal year!🙌🔥

Wishing our players, a safe and fantastic holiday break—full of celebrations, good times, and maybe a friendly match or two in the backyard!

After seeing our Toowoomba Dragons Indoor Sports Club compete at the Junior State Titles last weekend, we are looking towards 2023 and what better way to sharpen your skills for outdoor then to play Indoor aswell!!!

We are extremely excited to launch our EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for a small Term 4 Summer Indoor Cricket competition for our junior dragons! 4 exciting divisions to choose from:

10 & Under
12 & Under
14 & Under
16 & Under

JUNIOR STATE TITLES 2022

Junior State Titles are over for another year and what a whirlwind 4 days at Action Indoor Sports Wynnum! Joining forces with IPSWICH INDOOR SPORTS CENTRE we took on the best as the Western Storm ⛈️

Although results didn't quite go our way we had a great 4 days developing and seeing some of the young talent improve a great deal! A few special thanks to all the players and parents and coaches that gave up there own time to support our mini-storms!

A huge Goodluck to our little Dragons that have joined forces with IPSWICH INDOOR SPORTS CENTRE to battle the state's best junior Indoor cricketers in the Qld State Titles played over the next 4 days in Wynnum!!

With grades in Under 12s, 14s & 16s it's fitting the rain has arrived so we're bringing the weather with us!!!

Due to injuries, we have suffered a few withdrawals from our Under 22's side travelling to Caboolture this weekend.

If you are 21 and under and would be interested in joining the side for this weekend's zones carnival, please get in touch with us ASAP!!!!

Games on Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday Afternoon at Caboolture Indoor Sports. Even if you cannot play all 3 days ANY help would be great!
