Fitness Australia otherwise known as The Register of Exercise Professionals, is the overarching organisation for Australia's Health and Fitness Industry. It is committed to a fitter and healthier Australia for the people to experience a better quality of life. Fitness Australia is a not for profit member based industry representing the interests of Health and Fitness Professionals nationwide. Industry standards, quality of fitness, fitness professionals, customer service and professionalism are all essential parts in ensuring their Vision of a fitter and Healthier Australia. Sports Dietetics Australia (SDA) is another very reputable organisation that is important in ensuring a high level of Sports nutrition within the Country. SDA creates "leaders in sports nutrition practice who can provide diet and nutrition advice to help you achieve your personal and sporting goals" (SDA ). Nutrition is a real passion of mine and is something that I really want to learn in detail, to know the truths and lies behind what we put into our bodies. It is an extremely important part of our lives. SDA can help by providing information on "from maximising energy levels, and knowing what to eat before, during and after competition to maintaining appropriate body fat levels (SDA)".

Through the REP I am able to keep up to date with the latest health and wellbeing for myself, my clients and the community. Likewise with SDA, I am able to learn about the latest and greatest in nutrition, what I should be eating and I am able to pass on this great knowledge to the many clients that I will have.
I look forward to researching and learning more about REPs and SDA, along with many other great organisations in the health and fitness industry.
