Great work Bowen! Love this!

Calling all Off The Track horses heading to Bowen Carnival! 🐎💛

Thanks to Queensland Off The Track, and a huge effort from our member Shannon, we have some ripper prizes organised for our registered OTT competitors this year.

We love seeing these incredible thoroughbreds out on the polocrosse field, showing just how athletic, versatile and willing they are in their life after racing.

To be eligible for the OTT awards, please make sure you nominate your horse and let us know their racing name.

We also have Bowen Polocrosse Club Off The Track tags available. These are to be attached to your horse’s bridle so our judges can easily identify OTT competitors throughout the carnival.

Another one postponed ⛈️⛈️

❌ Quilpie Carnival Postponed ❌

It is with terribly heavy hearts that we have made the tough decesion to postpone our carnival this weekend.

With the expected weather forecast we are not willing to risks horse and human safety as well as people’s hip pockets in the event we get the rain predicted.

The fields are looking ‘on point’ but the surrounds and camp grounds will not hold up if Hewy does his thing 🌧️ .We will work closely and quickly with QPA to arrange another date.

We’d love for everyone to support the other carnivals scheduled to ensure they are a roaring success!

A massive thank you to ours sponsors who had already committed to our club ( we will be in touch)!

To all those who had already reached out and committed to attending thank you ever so much we hope to see you all later in the year with what was shaping up to be a cracker of a weekend!

Who uses the Schoolzine app? 🙋🏼‍♀️

We have had a very overdue update on the general content within the app! It is regularly used by our officials, umpires and horse welfare officers to conduct reports (which don’t stress, are all as per usual). But we also have heaps of information for our everyday members to keep in the loop.

✔️ “Latest Newsletter” shows the 🥁🥁 … you guessed it, latest newsletter!

✔️ “Newsletter Archives” has all our reinvented 2026 e-Newsletters Behind the Goal Post

✔️ No longer have to look at notifications from 2023 😂

✔️ “Events Calendar” has a live feed of upcoming events with attached invites/flyers 📌
