Referees |

What a wonderful occasion on Sunday with SQJBC games hosted at Clive Berghofer Arena, where the focus wasn’t just on the competition on court, but on building the future of officiating.

It was fantastic to see our more experienced officials giving up their time to mentor and support the next generation of referees, sharing knowledge, guidance and real game day experience in a live environment. Moments like these are what strengthen our basketball community and all officials walked away developing confidence and consistency.

A huge thank you to all officials involved for leading by example and helping ensure the standards of our game continue to rise across all levels. The future of officiating in our region continues to grow as we develop a clear pathway for our aspiring officials.
